About the Role

At Volker Stevin Highways, our Project Coordinators are integral to the success of every project, ensuring smooth operations and the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality construction. This role supports the Project Manager in multi-disciplinary construction projects across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate schedules, procurement, and subcontractor activities.
  • Conduct inspections and track project progress.
  • Facilitate communication with clients, field teams, and subcontractors.
  • Assist in project change orders and estimation processes.
  • Ensure work meets technical specifications and contractual requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in heavy civil or transportation infrastructure construction, and hold a Diploma or Degree in Construction, Engineering or a related field. Experience with Microsoft Office, InEight, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Bluebeam, and a valid Class 5 Driver’s License are required.
