About the role
About This Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps & Cloud Engineering Specialist to drive agile delivery, improve automation, and enhance cloud infrastructure across dynamic, cross‑functional teams. The individual will contribute hands-on expertise in AWS, CI/CD, and application development technologies while enabling continuous delivery, scalability, and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical capabilities, leadership experience, and a passion for guiding teams towards modern engineering excellence.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and continuously enhance the integration, build and testing infrastructure, ensuring reliable development environments and virtual machines.
- Set up and manage clusters on Microsoft AKS or AWS EKS, including networking, DNS, security and associated cloud services.
- Support development teams by applying expertise across both development and operations, particularly in areas relating to scalability, automation, and system security.
- Establish and manage continuous delivery toolsets and procedures, including configuration management, automated deployments and build pipelines.
- Script, configure and optimise cloud environments while ensuring stability, performance and compliance.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of cloud infrastructure and implement robust monitoring frameworks for proactive system insights.
Who You Are
- Deep knowledge and extensive experience working within agile teams.
- Strong capability in creating burndown charts, backlog maps and agile delivery artefacts.
- Proven expertise in continuous delivery processes, tools and automation.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and innovation skills.
- Ability to coach developers, testers and DevOps engineers to uplift engineering practices.
- Solid technical foundation in React.js, Node.js and C# or Java.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
- Skilled in Jenkins, Maven and GitHub/GitLab toolsets.
Good To Have
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
- Broader understanding of AWS concepts.
- Self‑starter attitude with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies.
