About This Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to ensure the availability, resilience, and performance of our application portfolio, toolsets, and platforms. This role involves designing scalable and secure infrastructure, automating operational processes, and driving continuous improvements across mission-critical systems. The individual will collaborate on future-ready platforms with a customer-centric approach and contribute to delivery and stability tooling across diverse environments.What You Will Do
- Design applications and infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability, availability, and maintainability
- Implement robust error handling and self-healing mechanisms
- Automate standard operational processes to achieve zero-touch operations
- Build and maintain platforms with customer-centric design principles
- Ensure environment stability and performance
- Develop and enhance tooling for delivery and system stability
- Manage end-to-end availability and performance of critical systems
- Apply problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset to telecom-related challenges
Who You Are
- Experienced in Cloud Computing (AWS)
- Skilled in container management tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins)
- Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Familiar with observability-as-code and log analysis/big data configuration
- Capable in software development (Unix, SQL, Python, Clojure)
- Knowledgeable in AWS-native tools (DMS, DataSync)
- Experienced with version/source control (GitHub) and CI/CD implementation
- Understands security-by-design principles
- Able to configure CloudWatch and set up custom metrics and alerts
- Strong problem-solving, creative and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communicator with the ability to perform under pressure
