Overview
Voices is seeking fluent speakers for a one-time freelance project to record voice samples in multiple languages. Selected candidates will record at least one hour of audio in their native language from home. The recordings are for internal text-to-speech research and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Record provided scripts in a quiet environment.
- Deliver high-quality audio files meeting detailed specifications.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Native or fluent in one of the listed languages.
- Access to a quiet space and high-quality recording equipment.
- Record approximately 1 finished hour of audio (9000 words) within 2 days.
- Prior experience in voice acting, narration, or broadcasting is required.
- Ability to meet strict audio quality specifications.
- Signing of NDAs and usage release agreements is required.
Artistic Direction
DOs: Be yourself and speak naturally, embracing emotion. DON'Ts: Do not ad-lib, avoid robotic or overly polished tones, and follow the script precisely.
Compensation & Payment
Pay: $120-400 USD per hour based on language and location. Payment is issued upon completion via PayPal or Tipalti with a verified bank account.
Licensing & Usage
Recordings are for internal research and evaluation only. They will not be sold, broadcast, or used for public-facing AI training.
Audition Process
Applicants may need to submit a short audio sample. Submissions are manually reviewed and must represent original, human performance only. Multiple or AI-generated submissions are prohibited.
Schedule & Work Location
Flexible, remote, and done from home as a one-time asynchronous recording session. This project may lead to recurring work opportunities on Voices.com's platform.
