VML is seeking a smart, inquisitive, and self-driven Freelance Data Analyst to join our expanding marketing science team within VML Data Products. As a member of the Analytics and Marketing Science group, you will be instrumental in developing comprehensive data solutions for clients. This includes creating tagging strategies for web performance, conducting in-depth analyses using diverse data sources, and building intricate dashboards with data visualization technologies such as Power BI.

In this role, you will be responsible for constructing data visualization solutions that effectively communicate insights. What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain data solutions combining different data sources, using data visualizations tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI or Excel.
  • Understand and follow measurement strategies, aligned to the client main KPIs.
  • Keep focus in data results, to raise the flag when necessary to wrong data sources for vendors, or changes in trends of results for the client.
  • Collaborate: share the best practices to the internal and regional team.
  • Translate client data requirements into mockups.

Who you are:

  • Curious: With an inquisitive mindset you embrace the unknown and see as an opportunity to explore and innovate.
  • Ambitious: Willing to take calculated risks, stretch yourself and your team to do new things vs. plugging into existing solutions.
  • Passionate: You take great pride in your work. You approach our own and our clients’ business challenges with enthusiasm and a commitment to getting it right. You love working in health. You see data science as a way of expressing creativity.
  • Humble: Wear any hat that needs to be worn, and you know you do not know everything. You want to learn from others.
  • Able to work Independent: you feel comfortable working with minimal supervision to perform the tasks required from you.

What You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
  • Knowledge of ETL Processes: Understanding of extract, transform, load (ETL) processes to handle data from various sources.
  • Knowledge of marketing metrics for email and media.
