About the role
About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Systems Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for planning and executing manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of deliverables throughout the development lifecycle. You will define test strategies, automate relevant scenarios, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and leverage Artificial Intelligence solutions for continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Plan, define, and execute test strategies based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases, ensuring broad coverage and traceability.
- Perform functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Identify, log, document, and track defects until resolution, ensuring delivery quality.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve automated tests for web, mobile, and/or API applications.
- Evaluate and define scenarios eligible for automation, considering cost-benefit and stability.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, supporting continuous delivery practices.
- Utilize Artificial Intelligence tools to support the creation, optimization, and maintenance of test cases.
- Create, configure, use, and maintain AI agents for automation, test generation, failure analysis, and continuous quality improvement.
- Analyze test results, metrics, and quality indicators, proposing improvement actions.
- Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams, contributing from early development phases.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (refinements, plannings, reviews, and retrospectives), bringing the quality perspective.
- Support the definition and evolution of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Share knowledge and support the technical development of more junior team members.
- Contribute to defect prevention and improvement of user experience and product reliability.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quality Analyst or Engineer.
- Experience with test planning, scenario creation, and test cases using BDD and declarative testing approaches.
- Experience in executing manual tests (functional, regression, exploratory, and integrated).
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated tests.
- Knowledge of test automation concepts and best practices.
- Experience or familiarity with testing web, mobile, and/or API applications.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
- Experience in defect logging, tracking, and management.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Basic or intermediate knowledge of AI tools applied to quality.
- Interest and openness to continuous learning, especially in automation and AI.
- Remote position requiring residency in São Paulo - SP or Curitiba - PR.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
- Knowledge in API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Experience integrating and executing automated tests using Azure DevOps.
- Experience creating, using, or maintaining AI-based agents.
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
- Experience with version control (Azure).
- Knowledge of quality metrics and indicator analysis.
- Experience in DevOps or continuous delivery environments.
- Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
