About the Full Stack Engineer Role

Vitec Tietomitta Oy is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to develop modern digital solutions for waste and environmental management customers. You will work on the end-user portal using technologies such as React (Material UI), C#/.NET, and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the end-user portal in collaboration with the team.
  • Implement interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Material UI.
  • Develop backend systems in a C#/.NET environment.
  • Design and integrate REST APIs.
  • Plan and maintain database functionalities with PostgreSQL and Actian Zen.

Role Details

This hybrid role allows flexible working from the office and remotely within Finland. Initially, more office presence is required for effective onboarding.

Candidate Requirements

  • Several years of experience in modern software development.
  • Strong skills in both front-end (React, TypeScript, Material UI) and back-end (C#/.NET) development.
  • Understanding of REST API design and web application architecture.
  • Proficient in Finnish and English (both written and spoken).
  • Residence in Finland and willingness to work in a hybrid model.
  • Basic SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.

Desirable Skills

  • Python experience.
  • CI/CD processes and container technologies (Docker).
  • Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS) and Kubernetes.
