Role Overview - Cloud Support Consultant
As a Cloud Support Consultant, you will join the Tier 2 support team for Vision33's B1 Cloud on AWS managed services. Reporting to the Manager, Cloud/Managed Services, you will manage client incidents, provide Windows and Linux server support, and maintain AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver top customer service.
- Manage client incidents from troubleshooting to escalation resolution.
- Administer end-user and security profiles across 100+ servers.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud environments using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, system restores, and root cause analysis.
- Develop automation scripts with PowerShell and Bash to streamline operations.
- Configure and support web and application services including IIS, Apache, and Nginx.
- Coordinate standard server maintenance and backup programs.
- Create and maintain internal support documentation and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in a client-facing support role.
- Experience with production Windows and Linux systems in critical environments.
- Competency in server administration, security protocols, and AWS cloud support.
- Scripting experience using Python, Bash, Ruby, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with support best practices (e.g., ITIL Framework).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
