Job Description
As a Site Reliability Engineer at Visa, you will work within the Product Reliability Engineering function. You will perform day-to-day SRE tasks including maintenance, incident resolution, proactive analysis, and production support for Visa VAS applications under direct supervision. You will work closely with product development and engineering teams to ensure improved reliability, scalability, and efficiency across applications.
- Execute maintenance and incident resolution for Visa VAS apps.
- Proactively analyze applications and facilitate solution discussions.
- Assist with automation and documentation to support knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with observability and SWAT teams on troubleshooting.
- Support GenAI and machine learning initiatives under guidance.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications include a minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred candidates have up to 3 years of experience, familiarity with Linux/UNIX, DevOps, AI/ML tools, and knowledge of Java, Shell/Python scripting, database technologies, and monitoring tools.
