Role Overview: Senior DevOps Engineering Manager

As the Senior DevOps Engineering Manager, you will join the Developer Experience team and support a team of engineers focused on ensuring the availability of CI/CD systems and automation tools. You will improve developer productivity, manage build and deployment processes for containerized applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain service availability and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of DevOps engineers.
  • Build and support container CI/CD pipeline for deployment and release.
  • Measure and improve developer experience and productivity.
  • Implement changes to build, release, and version-control processes.
  • Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and QA teams for production and non-production support.
  • Maintain and enhance deployment processes and developer tooling.
  • Participate in decision-making for production application deployments.
  • Document standards and best practices; implement metrics and KPIs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Hands-on experience with cloud technologies in DevOps, CI/CD, and software engineering; familiarity with Linux, containerization technologies, and open-source tools; proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language; and experience leading teams.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Containers, Kubernetes, Docker EE, OpenShift, Java build troubleshooting, monitoring tools like Datadog, SCM (GIT), CI tools (Jenkins) and project management tools (Jira).
