Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) division is a core revenue growth driver, enabling clients to deliver secure and convenient payment experiences. Within VAS, the Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) business unit focuses on preventing fraud across the entire payment journey and networks, leveraging decades of expertise to safeguard billions of daily transactions.

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Risk and Identity Solutions team. This role demands strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships across functions and regions, successfully managing all planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes. You will present results and provide critical insights and analysis to business partners and executives. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial analysis, preferably with a public company, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members and supported functions.

Essential Functions

• Supports the coordination, organization, and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses, including traditional budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, enhanced financial/business reporting, business case development, pricing analysis, P&L generation, and business planning support.
• Supports business case development for key initiatives, ad hoc requests, and special projects.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders in the business, serving as a primary point of contact for finance issues.
• Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business.
• Applies overall analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner.
• Identifies and implements changes that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision-making.
• Learns and understands Visa’s financial reporting systems, running data queries, building financial architecture, and supporting finance technology initiatives.
• Builds near and long-term views for growth that align with business strategy and data.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting, requiring sitting, standing, communication, and frequent operation of standard office equipment.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is $104,900 to $163,000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
