Cybersecurity is at the heart of our culture. At Visa, our expertise in security helps maintain our leadership in electronic payments. We are looking for a talented and motivated Product Security Architecture - Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security architecture and engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with senior security architect consultants to assess, implement, and improve security controls across Visa’s applications, APIs, cloud environments, and development pipelines, including GenAI services.

This is a hands-on role that requires practical coding skills, familiarity with modern cloud platforms, and a foundational understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies. Your responsibilities include contributing to threat modelling, performing security reviews, and integrating security best practices into services and systems.

Essential Functions

• Support security architecture reviews for web, API, and backend applications alongside senior staff.
• Assist in security assessments during the development lifecycle, including threat modelling and peer reviews.
• Implement and ensure security controls align with Visa’s security standards.
• Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Apply coding skills for source code reviews, developing proof-of-concept tools, and automating security checks.
• Support security evaluations and monitor ongoing advisories.
• Gain experience in the security aspects of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist with reviewing AI/ML and GenAI-related services for risks and controls.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and AI-driven security solutions.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure security requirements are met.
• Maintain and update security documentation and technical guidelines.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Proficiency in at least one modern coding language (Python, Java, Go, etc.).
• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies or AI/ML systems and their security considerations.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native security patterns.
• Understanding of on-premise network, application, and cloud security principles.
• Familiarity with threat modelling and vulnerability assessment processes.
• Awareness of common security standards (PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to security controls in GenAI platforms and AI/ML pipelines.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and security tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and security automation.
• Experience with vulnerability management solutions.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (PCI, GDPR) in the payments industry.
