About the Marketing Specialist Role

Our client, Virtustant, is a remote-first, fast-growing marketing partner that helps eCommerce and DTC brands elevate their digital presence through innovative digital storytelling.

Job Description

The Marketing Specialist will lead digital storytelling efforts as a Social Media Manager. You will own content planning, creation, and optimization across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. This role requires a creative and strategic mindset to drive engagement, growth, and revenue through social media.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social strategies for various platforms.
  • Create and publish engaging content including Reels, TikToks, memes, carousels, and long-form posts.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as engagement, reach, and CTR.
  • Manage community interactions with empathy and professionalism.
  • Identify emerging social trends and adjust strategies.
  • Collaborate with creative and strategy teams for consistent messaging.
  • Manage campaign calendars and cross-functional workflows in a remote setting.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts.
  • Strong storytelling tailored to digital platforms.
  • Understanding of content performance metrics and analytics.
  • Experience in building and engaging online communities.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creative Center, Canva, CapCut, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple client accounts.
