About Virtustant and the Finance Manager Role

Our client, Virtustant, is seeking an experienced investment professional to join a full-time, 6 to 8-month project. This Finance Manager will leverage their strong background in M&A, hedge funds, private equity, or asset management to train AI models on real-world investment and hedge fund scenarios. The role demands deep exposure to financial modeling, valuation, investment memos, capital raising processes, and strategic transaction analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience producing institutional-level investment materials and participating in high-level financial decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex prompts based on real-world investment, hedge fund, and capital markets scenarios.
• Create advanced financial modeling cases (DCF, LBO, comparable companies, scenario analysis).
• Produce high-quality “Golden Solutions” such as:
  • Investment committee memorandums
  • Due diligence reports
  • Valuation models and transaction analyses
  • Fundraising materials and investor documentation
  • Portfolio strategy assessments
• Design evaluation rubrics to assess AI-generated investment analyses for accuracy, depth, and professional standards.
• Simulate realistic buy-side and alternative investment decision-making processes.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Extensive experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, asset management, or corporate M&A.
• Strong background in valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, trading comps, precedent transactions).
• Proven experience preparing investment memorandums, board materials, or fundraising documentation.
• Advanced financial modeling skills.
• Strong analytical writing and ability to structure complex investment arguments.
• Experience interacting with investors, investment committees, or transaction stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hedge fund strategies (long/short equity, macro, event-driven, relative value, or multi-strategy).
• Exposure to capital raising processes (VC, growth equity, private equity, Series funding rounds).
• Experience conducting due diligence and transaction execution.
• Familiarity with portfolio construction and risk-adjusted return analysis.
• Prior experience contributing to AI training, financial research datasets, or structured content development.
