Job Description
Automation Test Engineer
Virtusa is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in test automation and API testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and RestAssured.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Advanced REST client, SOAP UI, or Postman.
- Write functional test cases based on requirements.
- Troubleshoot and dry run automation scripts.
- Conduct automation testing, test reporting, and defect tracking.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium, Cucumber, and RestAssured.
- Good expertise in developing functional test cases.
- Experience with API testing tools like Advanced REST client, SOAP UI, or Postman.
- Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Autosys.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and strong database knowledge.
- Knowledge in UFT and VBScript is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills and team collaboration abilities.
