Overview

As an Endoscopy Technician, you will assist GI specialists during exploratory procedures and ensure the safe and effective operation of endoscopic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventories of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
  • Perform equipment safety checks and verify patient identification.
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain scopes per standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and software issues.
  • Assist during procedures ensuring patient safety and support for the team operations.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification in endoscopy technology or surgical technology is necessary. On-the-job training and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Full-time, 1st shift (9a to 7:30p with on-call responsibilities).
  • Position based at Lourdes Health System - 1600 Haddon Ave, Camden, NJ.
  • Adhere to strict infection control measures during endoscope reprocessing.
