Role Summary
As the Director, Care Operations Program Management, you will lead our team in designing, prioritizing, and executing strategic initiatives for scalable care delivery. Working closely with Product, Analytics, and Frontline teams, you will set the vision, operating model, and standards that drive meaningful impact for members, care teams, and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define roadmaps, prioritize projects, and build operational infrastructure.
- People Management & Team Development: Lead and mentor Program Managers; foster accountability and growth.
- Program & Project Oversight: Oversee high-impact initiatives ensuring on time, within scope delivery.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Coaching, Product, Design, Analytics, and Clinical teams to align on priorities.
- Operational Excellence: Champion process improvements and manage change effectively.
- Data & Impact Measurement: Define KPIs and drive data-informed results.
Must-Haves
- 8+ years in program management, operations, or strategy within healthcare or related field.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional initiatives in high-growth environments.
- Experience in developing high-performing teams with strong operational rigor.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Additional Information
Virta is a remote-first company with office hubs in Denver and San Francisco. Compensation is location-based with a range of $166,000-196,000/year. Please note that for clinical and corporate roles, hiring restrictions apply in several states. Security, privacy, and HIPAA protocols are a must.
