Overview

At Viridian Therapeutics, Inc., the Medical Science Liaison South Central plays a pivotal role in advancing best-in-class medicines for autoimmune and rare diseases. This role, reporting to the Area Director, Field Medical Affairs, supports the Viridian TED program by developing and maintaining relationships with key medical experts within the territory.

Main Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders.
• Serve as a primary resource for clinical and scientific information.
• Present fair and balanced scientific insights at conferences and meetings.
• Execute field medical affairs plans and document activities precisely.
• Communicate competitive and clinical insights to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.).
• 3-5 years of experience in an MSL role; launch experience preferred.
• Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
• Excellent presentation skills and independent work ethic.
• Ability to travel 60-75% of the time.
