Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary source of information and concierge services for guests
- Process onboard sales transactions and operate phone switchboard, cashless, and safety systems
- Ensure smooth operation of the guest infotainment system
- Plan and execute embarkation, disembarkation, and check-in/out procedures
- Maintain daily logbook, guest manifests, and handle guest complaints
- Coordinate guest travel arrangements and assist with shore excursions
Working Conditions
Work 10 weeks on board followed by 4 weeks vacation (schedule may fluctuate based on occupancy and staffing needs).
About You
You should have at least 2 years’ experience in a front office or similar role at a 5-Star hospitality or restaurant environment. Shipboard experience is an advantage. A high school diploma is required; a hospitality-focused degree is preferred. You must be physically fit, guest-focused, service-oriented, and maintain a professional appearance with impeccable hygiene standards.
Mandatory Requirements
You must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Viking Cruises is an At-Will Employer.
