About the Role

At vidIQ, the Product Engineer role reimagines the traditional PM+Engineer relationship by creating a hybrid position. This role uses AI tools to bridge the gap between ideation and implementation, allowing one person to perform tasks that previously required multiple roles.

Your Impact

As a Product Engineer, you will build and launch products that shape how creators use vidIQ daily. You will own the complete product development cycle from ideation to implementation. For example, you might:

• Develop an Analytics Dashboard to surface key metrics like watch time and engagement trends.
• Prototype and implement Workflow Shortcuts to automate tasks like keyword research and thumbnail optimization.
• Deploy enhancements in user onboarding to help new creators discover key features.

What We're Looking For

A builder with hands-on experience. You should have a proven record of building products, technical expertise in rapid prototyping using React/TypeScript, a product mindset using data, and a deep empathy for creators. Experience with AI-powered coding and data analytics is a plus.

Compensation

This remote position offers competitive project-based or monthly rates and, where applicable, stock option grants. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and current market benchmarks with an annual base range from $90,000 to $270,000.
