Your Role
The Security Analyst, Data Protection works within the Information Security and Privacy function of IT at Victoria’s Secret & Co. This role supports privacy and compliance efforts and develops controls in the data protection space. As a subject matter expert, you will use Data Protection tools to execute key pillars: Identify, Secure, Purge, Monitor, and Govern.
Your Impact
You will execute security and data protection requirements to enhance security and privacy for associates and customers. Responsibilities include onboarding new data sources for discovery and classification scans, reviewing data security permissions, managing aged files for compliance, and maintaining data repository inventories. You will also develop operational metrics and work with technical teams on automated controls to enforce data purging policies.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute data discovery, classification scans and validate findings.
- Maintain technical inventory of data repositories across the organization.
- Assist in legal privacy assessments and manage data subject rights requests.
- Report metrics from tooling and support remediation actions.
- Collaborate with architecture and desktop engineering teams to secure data.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years related experience in information security, data privacy, and/or data protection. Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience with database platforms such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Azure Cosmos, and MongoDB. Familiarity with data protection tools like Varonis, BigID, Proofpoint DLP, Imperva DAM, IBM Guardium DAM, among others, is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 native data protection capabilities is a plus.
Compensation
Salary range is from $74,500.00 to $99,750.00, determined by skills, experience, and geographic region.
