About the Role
Victoria University is seeking a Policy and Communications Officer to support the development, implementation, and review of Enterprise and Digital policies and procedures. In this role, you will provide critical analysis and input into policy initiatives, coordinate related activities, and ensure consistency across the portfolio.
You will also refresh the Portfolio’s SharePoint site and assist the Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Office in updating governance reports.
Main Responsibilities
- Policy Development & Review: Coordinate the creation, update, and consolidation of policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and document feedback.
- Project & Implementation Planning: Develop project plans and manage updates for policy endorsement.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct benchmarking, data analysis, and environmental scanning.
- Governance & Communications Support: Assist in updating governance and committee reports and refresh SharePoint sites.
- Compliance & OH&S: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and OH&S obligations.
What You Will Bring
A strong understanding of policy development and regulatory frameworks, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. You should be analytical, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
