- Support initiatives including Vulnerability management, SIEM, and Analytics.
- Document process and procedure for security operations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within security operations.
- Work with service owners in Information Security, IT Security and IT Global Infrastructure Delivery Center.
- Test security controls, alerts, rules, and procedures for effectiveness.
- Ability to create and automate tasks utilizing scripting languages such as PowerShell and python, for power automation.
- Familiarity with frameworks: Lean Sigma, CIS controls, NIST.
- Understand and prioritize information security risks pertinent to Viatris business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging trends and techniques regarding information security risk.
- Possess strong problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their (sophomore) year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in (Cyber Security) (i.e., or a related field of study).
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
- Must possess knowledge of information security, incident response, or threat intelligence.
- Must possess excellent information technology skills, ability to complete assigned project tasks, customer service focused attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organization skills, excellent attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: If Pursuing Bachelors = $20/hour, If Pursing Masters = $25/hour, If Pursing Doctorate = $30/hour.
