We operate globally, serving industry leaders across more than 20 countries.
Why Vetric?
Vetric is profitable and bootstrapped, building foundational technology without chasing trends. We operate with engineering discipline, strong ownership, and long-term thinking. The company is at an inflection point where the team's growth necessitates robust infrastructure, and your contributions will shape its future. You’ll work with a sharp, focused team dedicated to engineering discipline and building a high-quality organization.
Position Overview
This is Vetric’s first full-time IT hire, a foundational role at a critical juncture. As the company grows, informal IT solutions are no longer sufficient. We seek an individual to take full ownership of IT systems, design solutions, set standards, and ensure a seamless experience for new and departing employees. You will work with an external consultant during the initial setup and then assume long-term operational ownership. This role is also key to maintaining our SOC2 certification.
Responsibilities
- Devices & User Management: Own the entire lifecycle of company devices (procurement, setup, configuration, updates, decommissioning). Manage users end-to-end, including onboarding, permissions, and offboarding across Google Workspace, Slack, and SaaS tools. Serve as the primary contact for daily IT needs, troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues. Maintain device health, security, and standardization. Manage the company’s SaaS stack from a user perspective, including access, provisioning, and hygiene.
- Security & Compliance: Own the practical implementation of SOC2/ISO controls. Define and enforce security policies for devices, systems, and user behavior. Manage endpoint security, device updates, and access controls. Conduct security onboarding and training for all employees. Maintain audit readiness and support security reviews and customer questionnaires. Ensure consistent enforcement of password management and security best practices.
- Device Infrastructure: Build and operate the infrastructure for our distributed device fleet (Device Boxes). Own on-premise environments and network infrastructure, including office networks, WiFi, VPN, and firewalls. Manage vendors, procurement, and field operations across Israel and Europe. Ensure reliability, monitoring, and issue resolution, including hands-on work. Collaborate with R&D as the operational owner of deployed systems. Establish scalable processes to support growth.
