Overview

The Soil Operator works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. This role is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of merchandise into and/or out of the facility.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Prepare daily slings or carts for the wash floor
• Verify merchandise type and quantity using PUC card
• Segregate like items together in a sling
• Identify counts and record ruined or damaged merchandise on the PUC card
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to production best practices
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Understand training, written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills
• Good verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Consistent attendance

Working Environment & Safety Requirements

Work in a warehouse setting with exposure to weather extremes, dust, noise, and various physical tasks including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for long durations. Overtime may be required and work is based on a shift schedule that may include weekends.

Compensation

This position offers an hourly rate starting at $19.27 based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
