Job Summary

The Sr. Manager, Product Management – Chilled Water Systems at Vertiv provides subject matter expertise and market knowledge for the chilled water market and Vertiv's associated product portfolio. The role focuses on globalization of chilled water systems in the Americas with a strong emphasis on centrifugal chiller products. Responsibilities include managing a team, developing product requirements, and supporting the entire product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5 Product Managers.
• Collaborate with global and regional product managers and engineering leadership.
• Develop product requirements based on Voice of the Customer.
• Align messaging and product direction with global product roadmaps.
• Support product launches across EMEA, North America, and Asia Pacific.
• Create business cases for new products and capabilities.
• Provide training and sales support for new product launches.
• Develop marketing collateral and sales enablement tools.
• Act as a sales escalation point for complex customer opportunities.
• Engage in market research including tradeshows and customer visits.
• Analyze historical sales and margin data of liquid cooling projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5-10+ years' experience in product management.
• Strong technical knowledge of data center cooling products, especially chilled water systems.
• Experience in new product development and customer engagement.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between China, Monterrey Mexico, Italy, India, and Columbus Ohio.
• Chinese language skills are a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with data center focused HVAC solutions and chillers.
