Overview

Vertiv’s Global Strategic Account (GSA) organization is seeking a Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure and data center projects nationally. This role involves managing projects from pre-sales through equipment commissioning, ensuring a smooth, repeatable process is established and implemented.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize standard Project Management tools to achieve quality, financial, and schedule targets.
  • Define and obtain appropriate resources and develop the project organizational resource chart.
  • Coordinate with order management, production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups.
  • Engage with onsite resources and visit job sites to ensure clear communication of schedule, budget, and scope.
  • Escalate issues and establish urgency to prevent project delays.
  • Follow reporting and tracking programs to keep projects on target.
  • Manage financial performance by creating cost budgets and tracking expenditures.
  • Champion a culture of Safety by hosting periodic safety meetings.

Technical Platforms

The role focuses on digital platforms such as Oracle, Smartsheet, and Power BI to support project execution.

Qualifications

Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of project management experience, with critical infrastructure familiarity. Strong communication, customer service, and project management skills are essential. A Bachelor’s or Associate degree or equivalent experience is required, with PMP certification preferred.
