About the Americas Operations Senior Program Manager Role

The Americas Operations Senior Program Manager will lead and coordinate key strategic projects for Vertiv’s AMER Operations. This role focuses on manufacturing and operations initiatives, including operational excellence, process improvement, large-scale CAPEX deployment, and project management for Global Strategic Accounts. The candidate will work closely with manufacturing sites and cross-functional teams, translating strategy into execution while providing visibility to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive program management plans including scope, schedule, staffing, and budget.
  • Review project charters, business cases, and requirements to determine execution methodology.
  • Partner with AMER and Global Operations executives to update, resolve constraints and align execution.
  • Coordinate activities and track progress across multiple factories and regions.
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and finance.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for project continuity.
  • Apply structured consulting methodologies such as root cause analysis and scenario planning.
  • Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and team members.
  • Define project objectives, goals, and success criteria inclusive of all stakeholders.
  • Drive post-program reviews and integrate best practices into operational playbooks.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations or a related field with 4–6 years of experience, including management consulting, corporate strategy, or operations roles, with post-MBA experience preferred. Equivalent experience in manufacturing program management for large-scale CAPEX is considered. Additional skills include:

  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build financial/operational models for decision making.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and leadership capabilities.
  • Preferred certifications like PMP, Six Sigma or Lean Management.
