Engineer II - HVAC Engineering Management

This role is responsible for the design and testing of chillers using the latest technology in the HVAC industry. The candidate will follow NPDI processes for new product development, coordinate prototype development and pilot lot production, and be actively involved in resolving field issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and test chillers as per latest technology.
• Follow NPDI processes for new product development.
• Coordinate prototype development and pilot lot production.
• Conduct heat transfer calculations and component validation.
• Coordinate with Electrical and Mechanical design teams.
• Manage key area drawings and BOM.
• Collaborate with Product Management to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Participate in resolving field issues with effective resolutions.

Experience & Qualifications:

B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M.Tech. in Mechanical/Thermal with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the Air-conditioning/HVAC industry is required. The candidate should have hands-on experience in HVAC product design, be familiar with standards like ASHRAE and AHRI, and have software knowledge including HTRI and Unilab. A basic awareness of ASME, CE, and PED is expected along with proficiency in CFD and FEA analysis.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with HVAC companies such as Climaveneta, Swegon, Blue box, Bluestar, or Voltas will be preferred.
