Job Description

Senior Oracle EBS SCM Functional Consultant (Contractor)

This role involves a major international Oracle EBS implementation, requiring onsite work in the Midwestern US, with 3-4 weeks onsite in the first 8 weeks, and potentially 3-4 weeks onsite (4-5 trips) over the next 12-18 months. All expenses are covered.

You will lead functional workstreams across core SCM modules, conduct requirements workshops, challenge processes, facilitate design decisions, and manage client engagements in regulated environments (GxP/GMP/SoX).

Your Expertise

  • Deep Oracle EBS SCM experience across Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, Costing, and Planning.
  • Experience with iProcurement, Supplier Portal, and EDI is ideal.
  • Skilled in configuration, solution validation, training, and post-go-live support.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud, OUM/AIM, and 3rd-party integrations is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead client teams and manage change effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements workshops and process mapping.
  • Conduct design and gap analysis and application configuration.
  • Provide functional support during data migration, integration, and reporting.
  • Facilitate training delivery and post-go-live support.
  • Communicate with internal teams and Oracle for effective project delivery.

Qualifications

Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite SCM, including Procurement (iProcurement & Supplier Portal), Inventory Management, Order Management, Manufacturing, Cost Management, and Supply Chain Planning is essential. Additional experience with Oracle Cloud, Oracle Reporting, and integration tools is highly desirable. Excellent communication, leadership, and multi-tasking abilities are required.
