The Role
The Manager, Deployment Engineering is responsible for leading both the Deployment Engineering and Customer Support teams. The position ensures a seamless customer onboarding and deployment experience by planning, coordinating, and executing custom data integration interfaces for public safety software systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop technical teams for deployment and support.
- Manage project schedules, technical requirements, and quality standards.
- Directly handle escalated deployment projects when needed.
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to define scope and deliverables.
- Establish performance metrics and monitor support service levels.
- Oversee documentation, process improvements, and quality control measures.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
- Experience in IT or Engineering with ETL integrations and support.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, SQL, and automation scripting.
- Strong communication skills and customer-centric mindset.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Datadog.
Work Environment
This role is client-facing and may be performed remotely or on-site at one of our offices in the United States or Canada. Preference is given to candidates with on-site availability.
