About the Role

Verkada is looking for software engineering interns to join our Frontend Engineering team. You will work across the full software stack in a startup culture environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams on Verkada’s flagship security software.

Location: This role requires on-site presence at Verkada HQ in San Mateo, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Build best in class product experiences on our Command web platform (React) and mobile applications (React Native).
  • Lead projects from design to implementation.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to create delightful features.

What You Bring

  • Availability to work at Verkada HQ during winter or summer 2026.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar; graduating by June 2027.
  • Internship experience in developing and launching products.
  • Experience with reusable components, CSS pre-processors, and pixel perfect user interfaces.
  • Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript, including advanced concepts.
  • Experience with modern frameworks such as Angular.js, React, or Vue.
  • Strong eye for design and product polish.

Additional Information

Verkada sponsors employment visas for this role. Pay is competitive and based on factors including location and experience. Base pay is one aspect of Verkada’s total rewards package.
