About the Role
As a Hardware Engineering Intern (Winter Co-op) at Verkada, you will contribute to the design and development of new cameras, access control systems, sensors, and other enterprise IoT products. Your work from prototype to mass production will directly impact future products shipped by Verkada.
Responsibilities
- Partner with experienced engineers to design, debug, and validate hardware products.
- Design and execute experiments to test new circuit concepts.
- Create schematic capture and layout for systems and test boards.
- Work with manufacturing partners to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Available for a Winter Co-Op starting around January 5th (4-12 months preferred).
- Experience with electronic test equipment, schematic design, and board-level validation.
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach.
- Startup mindset with eagerness to tackle new challenges.

Pay Disclosure
Estimated Hourly Pay Range: $45 USD. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, and market factors. Additional compensation may include bonuses or equity in the form of RSUs.
