What You’ll Be Doing...

As a network engineer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain Python scripts to automate workflows for the Wireless NMC. You will also conduct data analysis, diving deep into wireless trouble tickets and alarms to identify trends and their business impact. A key aspect of your role will be to interpret wireless network trouble ticket worklog entries by understanding existing automation workflows to effectively answer end-user questions.

You’ll Need To Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of operating systems and applications.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for analyzing complex solutions and problems.
  • Experience with Oracle/SQL database administration.
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and convert code to new scripting languages.
  • Willingness to work a schedule that includes overlap with the US day shift (specifically for weekly meetings and initial training).
  • Working experience in Python (Pandas, Requests, NumPy, Paramiko (for SSH/Network)).
  • Working experience in Programming Concepts - REST API integration, JSON/XML parsing, Error handling, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • DevOps - GIT Lab Pipeline or Jenkins
  • Infra Configuration - Ansible
  • Experience in Orchestration - Kubernetes, Docker, Openstack, Openshift.
  • Front end Technologies - ReactJS or AngularJS, Javascript
  • Database and Modeling - SQL / No SQL
  • Messaging Streaming Technologies - Apache Pulsar or Kafka
  • Basics of AI / ML - Frameworks (Scikit-learn, Pandas & NumPy PyTorch), NLP, LLM, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Vector DB
  • Certifications in one or more of the following: Kubernetes (such as CKA, CKD etc.), Python, AI /ML technologies.

Even better if you have any one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Experience with large-scale IT systems.
  • Python certification.
  • Experience with JavaScript & React for web-based tool development.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience providing support to hundreds of users of developed applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to quality and user satisfaction.
