About the Role

Veritone is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team. This remote role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving technical puzzles, working behind the scenes, and occasionally stepping into client-facing situations to explain complex issues in simple terms.

You’ll be the go-to person for technical troubleshooting that doesn’t require developer intervention—handling everything from DNS issues to email delivery problems. You’ll also support internal teams by providing technical insights and database-level support when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and resolve technical support issues that go beyond standard customer service.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to DNS, email delivery, and platform performance.
  • Perform basic database queries and updates as needed.
  • Join client calls to explain technical issues or solutions when required.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Document technical issues and solutions to build internal knowledge resources.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in a technical support or IT role.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, DNS, and email systems.
  • Experience with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a SaaS or tech platform environment.
  • Familiarity with campaign tech, digital tools, or political technology.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical issues simultaneously.
