About the role

Data Entry and Validation Specialist

The Data Entry and Validation (DE&V) Specialist reports to the HPR DE&V Team Manager and supports project intake and uploads into VRM. This role serves as a key liaison between operations staff and the HPR Account Specialists, working with both internal and external clients to facilitate health plan requests.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Triages inventory received by the Health Plan Request Team against Verisma’s facility site list by determining the appropriate Verisma client or identifying if it is not associated with Verisma.
  • Communicates regularly with the HPR Account Specialists regarding the files they are handling.
  • Adheres to established guidelines from facilities and requestors concerning fees, exceptions, and standard intake procedures.
  • Remains current on facility and requestor requirements, including specialized instruction, rates, and approval protocols.
  • Data enters faxed requests from facilities.
  • Uploads high-volume health plan requests into VRM batches efficiently.
  • Processes single patient health plan requests using the ROIS App.
  • Produces clear, professional patient lists from Excel inventory files.
  • Updates inventory files and team trackers consistently.
  • Responds promptly to emails to prevent any delays in processing.
  • Conducts daily reviews of uploaded batches to confirm successful completion.
  • Addresses errors or omissions immediately upon identification or notification.
  • Develops expertise in navigating both the VRM and ROIS App platforms.
  • Adapts quickly to last-minute changes in work assignments directed by the DE&V Team Manager, particularly for escalating inventory.
  • Manages communications with professionalism in alignment with established standards and metrics.
  • Maintains positive and effective relationships with clients and requestors.
  • Performs other appropriate duties, as assigned, to meet the needs of the department and the company.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
