Risk Analyst
Verisk is seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Consulting and Client Services Team in Boston, MA. This role primarily focuses on the Analyze Re Product Suite, supporting various Verisk products.Responsibilities
- Serve as an ambassador for Catastrophe and Risk Solutions and the Analyze Re Product Suite, advocating for clients and prospective customers.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly and facilitate timely resolutions by collaborating with internal teams.
- Cultivate strong relationships with platform users at client organizations, understanding their workflows and objectives to provide proactive service and optimal solution utilization.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of customer accounts, acting as both a technical support and customer advocate.
- Conduct training sessions for new and existing clients on the full range of solutions, adapting to audiences with varying experience levels.
- Support customer onboarding in close coordination with Project Managers and other stakeholders.
- Assist with product change management for new releases and features.
- Collaborate with the business development team on sales efforts, providing technical and pre-sales support, including leading product demonstrations.
- Perform a variety of risk analyses for consulting projects, client support, and internal initiatives.
- Represent Analyze Re in various forums, including conferences, industry events, and one-on-one meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, actuarial science, business, computer science) preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in consulting, reinsurance, or the insurance field is considered an asset.
- Actuarial or underwriting industry experience is a plus.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Experience with tools like Python or C# is considered an asset.
- Experience managing deliverables directly with customers is an asset.
- Knowledge of statistics and business practices.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven.
- Client service focused with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks.
