About the Role
The Design team at Vercel is comprised of skilled professionals solving unique and complex web challenges. As a Design Engineer at Vercel, you will work on the design and development of high-impact acquisition surfaces including Vercel.com, events, and marketing experiences. You will collaborate with design, marketing, sales, GTM, analytics, product design, and engineering teams.
What You Will Do
- Report to the Director of Design Engineering and strengthen acquisition surfaces.
- Gather requirements and ideate system-based design solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-quality, performant implementations.
- Lead technical roadmap improvements for browser performance, accessibility, Core Web Vitals, and SEO.
- Advocate for design systems and mentor peers in frontend craft.
About You
You should have at least 5+ years of development experience, strong programming skills, and a keen eye for design details including layout, typography, and color. Familiarity with Next.js, Vercel, CMS systems, analytics platforms, and design tools like Figma is required. Experience in SaaS companies and working with marketing teams is a plus.

Location
This role is based in San Francisco, CA with options for remote work if you are outside a pre-determined commuting distance of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin).
