About the Role

As a DX Engineer, Developer Community at Vercel, you will own developer programs, worldwide events, and content initiatives to engage and grow Vercel’s global developer community. You will provide technical guidance, develop developer-focused content, and network with developers to help them build on the Vercel platform. Reporting to the Head of Developer Community, this role is based remote with required travel. Applicants should include a sample of a conference talk, YouTube video, or planned event.

What You Will Do

Developer Programs: Design and execute programs that activate and empower the developer community including initiatives such as the Open Source Program, OSS Starter Kit, and Meetup SDK.

Events: Create, support, and attend global developer events. Research event opportunities, plan our own events, and represent Vercel at community-hosted events by giving technical talks and networking.

Community Activation: Create technical content like blog posts and videos, engage on platforms such as Discord and social media, and gather feedback to drive actionable insights.

About You

  • At least 3 years of experience in Developer Relations or a similar role.
  • Proficient in modern frontend technologies, including Next.js and the Vercel platform.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a passion for community engagement.
  • Experience in coding and building web applications.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly for events.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000, with adjustments based on location and other factors. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.
