Job Summary

As a Software Engineer at Veolia, you will create and influence the development of software for cutting-edge instrument technology. This software supports life-saving pharmaceutical productions, environmental protection, and microelectronics manufacturing efficiencies. You will design tools for new analytical instrumentation and maintain existing product lines.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug software products collaboratively
• Participate in Agile practices and sprint planning meetings
• Collaborate with Functional Managers, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters
• Develop technical documentation following established procedures
• Work closely with QA, customer support, and onsite/offsite teams
• Lead design reviews, mentor junior team members, and provide technical guidance

Qualifications

Required: Bachelors in computer science, mathematics or related field with 4+ years of software engineering experience.

Preferred: Experience with full product life cycle in scientific instrumentation, test automation, customer focus improvements, software validation, and change management.

Technical Expertise

• Windows C# application development, WPF/.NET frameworks
• Database interfacing and deployment of SQL Server
• Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and various installer technologies
• Familiarity with C++, QT, embedded PostgreSQL, and Linux is a plus
• Experience with unit testing during software development
