Overview
Ventia is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Performance Assistant to join our Business Management Team within the Defence Clothing System (DCS). Reporting to the Compliance and Performance Manager, this role supports the development and maintenance of compliance frameworks and performance monitoring to ensure contractual and regulatory standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance across all contracted services.
- Interpret and apply Defence and Ventia governance policies.
- Maintain auditing and reporting systems for contract performance.
- Collect, analyse, and present KPI and compliance metrics data.
- Collaborate with operational teams to mitigate compliance risks.
- Prepare timely compliance and performance reports.
- Support innovation, efficiency initiatives, and surge project requirements.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, or project management.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a logistics environment.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Experience with Defence systems such as PIMS and MILIS.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a small team.
- Australian Citizenship for Defence Security Clearance eligibility.
Special Conditions
Must hold or be eligible for Defence Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2, or PV), pass an Australian Federal Police check, and maintain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
About The Contract
This seven-year contract (with a potential 13-year extension) will commence mid-2026. Ventia has been appointed as the single industry partner to modernize and streamline clothing services for the Australian Defence Force, collaborating with expert Australian organisations to deliver end-to-end solutions.
