Position Summary for Business Consultant

This role focuses on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through networking, channel partners, and self-generated prospects. Responsibilities include aggressive prospecting, negotiating pricing and service scopes, and maintaining the entire sales cycle from initial contact to post-sale implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in a designated territory.
  • Plan and implement products and services targeting client needs.
  • Prospect aggressively to reach key decision makers.
  • Negotiate pricing and scope with prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Oversee renewal proposals and client processes.
  • Prepare executive summaries for client presentations.
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) for lead generation tracking.
  • Participate in monthly consulting meetings and offer training.
