Senior Fullstack Developer

Velorona LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position for candidates located in Nepal, offering the opportunity to work on challenging projects with modern technologies while collaborating with a talented team of engineers.

Position Details

• Location: Remote
• Work Schedule: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM NPT, 5 days per week
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Experience Level: Senior (4+ years) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, and Express.
• Architect robust system solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
• Build and optimize database schemas and queries using Prisma ORM.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality standards are maintained.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Work independently on complex tasks while contributing effectively to team objectives.
• Participate in system architecture decisions and technical planning.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience with full-stack applications.
• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js framework and server-side rendering.
• Backend development expertise with Node.js and Express.js.
• Database experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Prisma ORM for database management.
• Solid understanding of system architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript in production environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.).
