The Opportunity
The Senior IT Security Compliance Analyst will support Velera’s IT Compliance Programs by leading and managing the IT controls program. This role involves developing standards, processes, and procedures to assess, monitor, report, escalate, and manage IT compliance and control issues, while collaborating with internal audit, enterprise risk management, and technical teams.
Day In The Life
- Provide ongoing training and IT compliance status reporting.
- Design, implement, and monitor the IT controls program.
- Maintain IT controls catalogue and verify security configurations.
- Collaborate with IT and business units for remediation efforts.
- Assist in audit efforts, vendor risk management, and special projects.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Accounting, MIS, Computer Science or similar, along with 8+ years in IT auditing and control projects. Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC) are required or in progress. Experience in financial services and consulting is preferred. A solid grasp of IT security concepts, risk assessment, and control frameworks (PCI, NIST, ISO27000, etc.) is essential. Proficiency in project management, technical systems, and audit report preparation is required.
