The IGA Operations Engineer supports the operation of systems in the areas of Identity and Access Management. This role will be responsible for the operations and support of the company’s identity governance and administration platform. The individual will work with other IT teams and service partners to ensure stability of our IGA solution and will also participate in technical architecture and design conversations. The successful individual will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a customer-focused, service-oriented environment, providing the highest quality of services.Day in the Life
- Provide Level 2 support for the IGA solution within agreed service levels.
- Work with IT teams, service partners and other stakeholders to ensure reliability and availability of the IGA solution.
- Implement and manage the effectiveness of Incident, Service Request, Change, and Problem management processes for the service area; provide daily/weekly report for ticket status.
- Maintain system configurations and process documentation, operating procedures, and infrastructure support documentation (e.g., data flow diagram, system as-built, runbook).
- Resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation.
- Participate as IGA subject matter expert in small/medium-scale projects supporting business initiatives; assist with the onboarding of new solutions.
- Help with operations after go-live, ensuring SLAs.
- Serve as an on-call resource for incident response and operational functions.
- Execute the further implementation and integration of Saviynt within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Relevant technical or security certification (e.g., CompTia Security+, CySA+, Certified Identity Governance Expert (CIGE), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)) required.
- Three (3) years of practical industry experience in design, development, customization, configuration, deployment, and support of identity management and governance products in large-scale environments with diversified application and authentication requirements required.
- Experience with Saviynt or similar IGA tool is required
- Prior experience with API's would be a plus
- SQL scripting experience is required
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD/EntraID, and SNOW ticketing system.
- Ability to write and/or modify PowerShell and JSON scriptions
