We serve over 4,000 financial institutions in North America, operating with velocity to help clients keep pace with rapid change and fuel growth in financial services. Our purpose is to accelerate partners’ success through innovative financial technology solutions and inspired service.
The Opportunity
As an Enterprise Architect Intern, you will own data integrity and automation processes within and around our Enterprise Architecture Repository. You will collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architecture Team to understand data structure and repository design. This position requires strong software development skills, particularly in Python, and an understanding of AI/ML models from Hugging Face or Azure Foundry. A strong willingness to learn Enterprise Architecture is vital.
You will shadow current Enterprise Architects managing the Velera Architecture Repository, authoring architecture building blocks, and performing project discovery. You will also work independently on tasks related to shadowing and learning the EA role hands-on, such as assisting with data entry, data cleaning, and data enhancement for repository data, contributing to architecture building block authoring, and participating in project discovery.
A willingness to read and understand source code, specifically in R and Python, will be beneficial but is not required. An understanding of basic machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) principles and relevant R and/or Python libraries will also be beneficial, but is not required.
