The Opportunity: Client Delivery Analyst
The Client Delivery Analyst supports the successful implementation of complex financial institution debit and/or credit projects. This role involves executing technical tasks, conducting quality checks, and leading client consultations on business and technical requirements, integrating them into comprehensive project plans. Incumbents will manage highly visible client projects, assuming a technical leadership role, and coordinating all phases of operational implementation for technical project deliverables.
A Day in the Life of a Client Delivery Analyst
- Meet with clients to discuss specifications for complex projects, collaborate with clients and vendors to determine project options, and facilitate meetings with key client personnel.
- Complete Gap Analysis as needed to define system set-up requirements.
- Provide expert consulting and guidance to clients on best approaches for meeting business requirements during implementations.
- Understand client business requirements, communicate effectively between technical groups at client and vendor locations, and data map technical files between systems.
- Work with client staff and vendors to execute project plans, ensuring technical tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Identify and report outstanding issues to the assigned project manager, and assist with issue resolution.
- Ensure quality throughout the implementation process, communicating technical aspects and requirements with third-party vendors and the internal Project Support Team.
- Validate system parameters and conduct thorough testing, modifying program parameters when necessary.
- Provide comprehensive technical support to clients during the design, development, and implementation phases.
- Offer extended hour post-implementation support for projects and occasional on-site support as required.
- Follow change control and appropriate management processes, ensuring less tenured Business Analyst-Project Consultants understand and adhere to these processes.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients and internal business partners/project team members for effective communication and successful project delivery.
- Assist with identifying process improvements within the department.
- Contribute to the training and mentorship of less tenured Analysts.
- Assist in developing new product/service requirements templates and procedural steps.
- Understand and complete tasks associated with various types of department projects.
- Provide after-hours on-call support for project installations as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
- Seven (7) years of related experience in the payment processing industry is required.
- Thorough understanding of payment card products, support services, and processes is required.
- Five (5) years of related experience in business or system analysis is required.
- Three (3) years of client-facing project support experience is required.
- Experience completing card processing conversions requiring data migration from one processing platform to another is essential.
- Training in Six Sigma Methodology and project management certification are preferred.
