The Role of a Technology Consulting Intern

The Technology Consulting Intern position is an integral part of our Consultant Development Program, a structured initiative designed to cultivate recent university graduates into the next generation of adept services consultants. This Intern role is specifically tailored for Bachelor's and Master's students in their final year of studies, requiring a commitment of 6-12 months, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Successful interns will have the potential to transition into a full-time Associate Consultant position upon graduating from university.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where you will be instrumental in resolving intricate business challenges and engaging directly with cutting-edge technology on a daily basis.

What You'll Do

  • Work directly with customers, offering expert guidance on Veeva’s applications and platform.
  • Configure Veeva software meticulously under the expert supervision of seasoned architects and project leads.
  • Collaborate effectively within teams to facilitate the implementation and optimization of Veeva software by contributing in pivotal roles, including project management, solution design and configuration workshops, validation, integration, migration, and training.

Requirements

We are seeking high-caliber graduates who fulfill the following criteria:

  • Thrives in a demanding, intensive environment that recognizes and rewards initiative and rapid learning.
  • Possesses a strong desire to engage hands-on with technology.
  • Maintains active student status at a Hungarian university, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in any field, and is currently in their final year of studies.
  • Demonstrates a history of strong and consistent academic performance.
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week during core business hours.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses strong critical thinking skills coupled with an analytical mindset.
  • Demonstrates a high work ethic, aligning with Veeva’s diligent company culture.
  • Upholds high integrity and honesty. As a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) and a “do the right thing” company, Veeva expects these qualities from all employees.
  • Willingness to travel as required, up to 20-30% of the time.

The Process

Our recruitment process is distinctive, prioritizing speed, efficiency, and respect for your time. Here are the key steps:

  • Submit your resume, a concise cover letter addressing specific questions, and complete a personality test.
  • Within one week, you will receive an email notification regarding whether we wish to proceed to the next stage.
  • The subsequent step involves a 60-minute interview, followed by a case exercise. You will be allotted one week to prepare for this case exercise.
  • Within one week after completing this step, we will extend an offer or inform you if we will not be moving forward.
  • You will have a two-week window to accept our offer. Upon acceptance, we will secure your spot, with the expectation that you will commence on your designated start date. Accepting an offer and subsequently continuing to interview elsewhere is considered an ethical violation by Veeva.

Work Authorization: Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed within the European Union. Veeva does not provide sponsorship for employment visa status for this position.

Work Environment: Veeva operates as a Work Anywhere company. Employees have the flexibility to choose between working in an office setting or remotely from home on any given day. Associate Consultants are required to reside within a maximum commuting distance of 45 minutes to 1 hour from Veeva’s Budapest office and typically attend the office two to three days per week.
