The Role
The Senior Performance Engineer will focus on scalability and performance of Veeva Applications. You will collaborate with developers, product management, and engineering teams to set benchmarks, test products pre-release, monitor production issues, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and achieve performance/scalability benchmarks.
- Utilize profiling tools like Yourkit to identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve performance issues.
- Monitor production performance and investigate issues.
- Develop tools for automated performance monitoring.
Requirements
- 6+ years in Performance Engineering and Benchmarking.
- Proficient in Java, MySQL, Python, and Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, and profiling tools.
- Expert in distributed computing systems and using Linux, Docker, AWS, GIT, and Artifactory.
- Strong mentoring skills with proven team improvement.
- Must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States.

Compensation
Base pay ranges from $120,000 to $220,000, with additional bonus and stock options available based on qualifications and location.
