About The Role
We are seeking a Workday Application Administrator to join our team who will be a true partner with the business to optimize Workday. In this role, you will work with the business and IT in deploying solutions around talent by helping to optimize the talent calibration process and enabling the career hub.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday and additional applications in the Talent & Performance and Core HCM functional areas, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support
- Lead and manage complex HRIS initiatives, including enhancements, new functionality rollouts, and cross-functional integrations
- Own the end-to-end configuration and optimization of Workday business processes, security roles, calculated fields, custom reports, EIBs, and scheduled releases
- Partner with HR teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to define system roadmaps, prioritize enhancements, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with business goals
- Analyze and document business requirements, process flows, and system impacts; produce high-quality documentation including functional specs, SOPs, and training materials
- Ensure data integrity through robust audit processes, validation routines, and proactive monitoring of system performance
- Lead testing efforts including scenario creation, test execution, defect tracking, and stakeholder sign-off
- Mentor junior analysts and HR teams on Workday capabilities, best practices, and change management
- Continuously evaluate system usage and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased adoption
- Stay current with Workday releases and industry trends, proactively recommending enhancements and innovations

- 7+ years of experience with HR systems and tools, including project management and system lifecycle methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
- Experience leading HRIS projects from concept to deployment, including vendor coordination and budget oversight
- Familiarity with global HR processes and data governance standards

Compensation Transparency
Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.
In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.
U.S. Geographic Zones & Compensation Ranges (TTC / OTE)
- Zone 1: San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Boroughs - $119,800—$199,700 USD
- Zone 2: Washington, California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area) - $109,800—$183,000 USD
- Zone 3: Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, New York (excluding NYC boroughs); Sales roles located in Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona - $99,900—$166,400 USD
- Zone 4: All other US locations - $86,900—$144,800 USD
